Who We Serve — Blue Ridge Haven Autism Families, Caregivers & Community

A Place for Everyone Who Needs Rest

Serving Families, Caregivers, and Communities with Rest, Hope, and Purpose

Our Community

Blue Ridge Haven is being developed as a Christ-centered place of rest, renewal, respite, and practical support for families and individuals who need a peaceful, structured, and welcoming environment. Located in the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, BRH will serve families impacted by autism and developmental disabilities, adults with autism, caregivers, churches, volunteers, campers, donors, and guests looking for a quiet place to reconnect with God, family, and community.

Who We Serve

Every person here has a place at Blue Ridge Haven.

A family enjoying time together in a peaceful mountain setting

Families with Children Who Have Autism

A retreat designed around your child — and your whole family.

Blue Ridge Haven will serve families raising children with autism by offering peaceful retreats, structured family experiences, and caregiver support in a mountain setting designed for them. Sensory-friendly outdoor activities, unhurried schedules, and a community of people who understand — parents and children alike will find a place where they feel welcomed, understood, and supported without explanation or apology.

Moms and Dads Who Need Respite

You have given everything. Now it's time to receive.

Many parents and caregivers carry years of emotional, physical, and spiritual exhaustion — the kind that doesn't show up on a medical chart but is felt in every moment of every day. Blue Ridge Haven will provide opportunities for rest, renewal, encouragement, and temporary relief in a safe and compassionate environment. You are not forgotten here. You are seen, honored, and welcomed.

Adults with disabilities participating in community life

Adults with Autism

Meaningful work, community, and a future full of purpose.

Blue Ridge Haven carries a long-term vision for residential and employment opportunities for adults with autism. Life-skills development, meaningful work on the property, community participation, and supportive daily structure — we believe adults with autism deserve more than a program. They deserve a place to belong, contribute, and thrive alongside a community that values them.

Americans with Disabilities

Dignity, accessibility, and a genuine welcome.

Blue Ridge Haven desires to be a welcoming place for individuals and families impacted by any disability — offering dignity, accessibility, friendship, encouragement, and real opportunities to participate in retreat and community life. We are designing our facilities and programs with accessibility at the forefront, because belonging is not a privilege — it is a promise we intend to keep.

Churches Needing Retreat Space

A mountain sanctuary for your congregation to gather and be renewed.

Blue Ridge Haven will serve as a future retreat location for churches, pastors, ministry teams, youth groups, men's and women's groups, and leadership gatherings seeking a peaceful mountain setting for worship, teaching, fellowship, and renewal. Whether you're planning a weekend retreat, a leadership intensive, or a summer camp, the Haven will offer the space, the stillness, and the setting your group needs to encounter God together.

Young volunteers serving together in an outdoor community setting

Young People Who Want to Volunteer

Come to serve. Leave transformed.

Blue Ridge Haven will offer meaningful opportunities for young people, students, church groups, and volunteers to serve families, help with events, assist with outdoor activities, support camp operations, and grow in compassion, leadership, and Christian service. Serving here is not just about giving — it is about being shaped by the families you meet and the mission you join. There is a place for you here.
